Our Sitka Whale Watching experience is brought to you by Captain Cody Loomis and his wife, Marlie.
Captain Cody and Marlie are both 3rd generation Alaskans who have lived in Sitka since 2006. With years of experience in sport fishing and an overall love for the Alaska Outdoors, they are no strangers to the beautiful waters here in Sitka and all that they have to offer. As Alaska’s premier go-to charter for Halibut Fishing Charters and King Salmon Charters, Captain Loomis has navigated Alaska’s waters for over 25 years. This experience makes Captain Cody one of the most sought out Captains in Sitka. Starting off as a deckhand on his father’s charter boat in 1988, and then becoming a fishing guide in 1998, Captain Cody has led fishing excursions and wildlife viewing tours throughout Southeast Alaska.
